Medical weight loss
GLP-1 therapy, prescribed and monitored by licensed providers.
For adults who qualify, GLP-1–based medications can reduce appetite and improve satiety. We pair them with body-composition tracking, nutrition guidance, and regular clinical follow-up.

Medications your provider may consider
Two options, chosen for you — not from a menu.

Semaglutide
A GLP-1–based medication that can support weight loss by reducing appetite, improving satiety, and supporting blood-sugar control. Given as a once-weekly injection.
Benefits, side effects & FAQs →
Tirzepatide
Acts on two hormone pathways (GIP and GLP-1) involved in appetite and blood-sugar regulation. Given as a once-weekly injection.
Benefits, side effects & FAQs →Prescription treatments require a medical evaluation by a licensed provider, who decides whether a treatment is appropriate for you. Not everyone qualifies. Some medications we prescribe may be prepared by a state-licensed compounding pharmacy. Compounded medications are not FDA-approved, and the FDA does not review them for safety, effectiveness, or quality. GLP-1, explained
A hormone your body already makes, working on three fronts.
GLP-1 (glucagon-like peptide-1) is released by your gut after you eat. GLP-1–based medications are designed to mimic it and last longer in the body.
Appetite signals
GLP-1 acts on areas of the brain involved in hunger, which can help you feel full sooner and think about food less.
Slower emptying
Food leaves the stomach more gradually, which can extend the feeling of fullness after a meal.
Blood-sugar support
GLP-1 helps the body release insulin when blood sugar rises after eating, supporting steadier glucose levels.
