FAQ

Questions we hear most.

Do I qualify for GLP-1 medication?

GLP-1 medications are generally considered for adults with a BMI of 30 or higher, or 27 or higher with a weight-related health condition. Only a licensed provider can decide after reviewing your medical history. Our online eligibility check is a starting point, not a diagnosis.

Are your medications FDA-approved?

Your provider will tell you exactly what is being prescribed and where it comes from. Some medications may be prepared by a state-licensed compounding pharmacy. Compounded medications are not FDA-approved, and the FDA does not review them for safety, effectiveness, or quality.

How much weight will I lose?

Results vary from person to person and depend on factors such as diet, activity, dose, and medical history. We don’t promise a specific amount. We track body composition so you and your provider can see real progress over time.

What are the common side effects?

The most common are nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, constipation, and stomach pain, usually while the dose is being increased. Serious side effects are possible. Please read our Important Safety Information and tell your provider about any symptoms.

Do I have to come in person?

Yes. Your consultation and follow-ups take place at our Orange location, so we can do body-composition scans and see you in person.

What happens if I stop the medication?

Some people regain weight after stopping. Your provider will talk with you about a plan for maintenance, including nutrition and activity.

Is my information private?

Health answers in our online eligibility check stay in your browser and are not sent to us. Information you share during your consultation is protected as part of your medical record.

Is recovery included?

Recovery sessions such as cryotherapy, hyperbaric, PEMF, and sauna can be added to your program. They are wellness services and are not a medical treatment for weight loss.

Check eligibility

Prescription treatments require a medical evaluation by a licensed provider, who decides whether a treatment is appropriate for you. Not everyone qualifies.
